| quick update for austen, Last night i led Oasis, with my guitar...leading the band....and singing...i spent ALOT of prayer for it because i was nervous, but God calmed my Spirit and the service was really powerful. I have three tests on friday, well, i got one moved to thursday. But they're all in Bio, Chem and Phys. My three toughest classes. Not cool, but i know God will help me through it. We're looking at some houses to live in next year. We have a couple that we're applying for. I have no voice right now. Too much singing. I'll probably be living in brookings this summer and working and taking classes. theres other things going on....but thats for when im not studyin and am really bored... Have a great day! | Update nation.... Ok, here we go.. its been a while, so i have no clue what to talk about...... School is going good so far. My classes havent had much for homework yet but im sure it will change. Oasis is still pretty rockin and im privileded to play in the band and use my talents for God. God has been showing me so much and encouraging me every day. A fellow student named Ben is growing so much and it just fires me up to live for my savior everyday. Im currently watching Lost season 2. Im kinda addicted now, but not too much. ok, i am i guess. Im currently looking for housing for next year. I cant wait to bunker down and get my own room and live it up! Well, thats my boring life, no cool stories i guess. call me if you're bored. | Ok, new entry for all those waiting for one. This is finals week. i want it to go fast and painless. Im kinda mad right now because in anatomy i need a 100 get an A. not happy. So, we shall see. I am going to TCX, so it should be a good time there and at home for xmas break. um, had a really good bible study with the guys the other night. and, funny story time: not 3 hours ago, i was getting back from church and went to go talk to my friends down the hall. Well, they told me they shot a squirrel with a blowdart gun. Anywho, as they were telling this story, UPD walks in and starts questioning them. Well, i saw on his report that there was an "unknown" third party member. So he asks me my name......and then writes it down as the third party member! HOLD ON. haha this is one of those moments you'll never forget. So he takes my drivers license and calls it in. After a while i finally was able to tell him i had nothing to do it, but he was still suspicious. So, who knows what'll happen. Kinda one of those austen moments ill never forget..... these kids face some big charges and im glad i wont get in trouble... ya so...that was today HAVE A GOOD BREAK AND XMAS!!!! Austen | | |
| Ok, so.....ya....life....sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Ok, so i went home this last weekend. i hunted, alot. It was fun. You dont realize after a life of shooting animals...and then not shooting them for a while....how deprived you get of killing. I felt like i satisfied my soul. Well, not really...but close though. Hmmmm, right now we're looking for houses for next year. I love the dorms, but i cant wait to get out of them too. I love warm weather. ok, im in no mood to type, but ive tried really hard. it would make my day if you called me, first of all because i lost everyones numbers, cause my phone broke.....and i really want to talk to people i havent talked to in forvever. | hmmmm.....YEAH....ok, this one will be better than the last one. So, this weekend, im going to fall getaway. should be a good time with all the cru folk. As of right now, im trying to get all my hwork done so i can go.....(since i have time to do this....obviously im not trying too hard to do my hwork...i just realized that...) tonight....going to langfords football game...see my bro play. they've only lost one game....they still should be undefeated.... but i guess 6-1 is still really good...considering that we only won one game my senior year. ya, heres my new discovery of the year. I am not a morning test taker. We recently too an anatomy exam.....and i got a 90 on it....which is really good considering the average was a D. well, i should have had a 96 because, when i looked over my test.....i filled in letter E ....when that wasnt even a choice for #1. i knew the answer too. And on another question, i erased the right answer at the end of the test and changed it. not happy. but oh well. 6:30 aint cool in my books for thinking really hard. our sunday night worship band that i play in is doing really well. Lots of people are coming, and the Lord meets with us every time. my life otherwise....great compared to as late. Im setting my mind...not on me or this earth....but above. Try it.....you'll be amazed at ur focus if you wake up everyday saying "this could be the day He returns". peace out Austen | | |
